In 2007 NIS celebrated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the foreign intelligence in Bulgaria. Under the current global issues, dominated by the increasing importance of combating asymmetric threats, the Service personnel with dignity and high professionalism stands up for the security and the national interests of our fatherland and has appeared to be a reliable partner of the EU and NATO special services.
